Abstract

The article reports on the inconsistency of the government proposals, which tend to improve small-scale commercial and non-residential facilities, in Great Britain. It mentions that poor-quality drafting and ambiguity of language have caused hindrance to the new part of the General Permitted Development Order 1995. It states aspects of the proposals which cause concerns, such as introducing procedure for automatic teller machines and permitting air conditioning units to become a development.
