Abstract

A Green function technique is developed to study the spin-dependent phonon Raman scattering in ferromagnetic semiconductors (fms). The damping Yzzkand the dynamic structure factor Szz(k, E) are determined. We obtain three temperature regions with different contributions of the damping terms(Formula Presented). The temperature dependence of the integrated intensity of Szzis in agreement with the experimental data for fms, such as CdCr2Se4. © 1986 IOP Publishing Ltd.
