Abstract

Sweden has vast biomass potential. This is reflected in the current 3yr energy budget. Funds for the energy forests project have increased dramatically over the past several years. Although the evidence is not all in yet, it appears that Sweden will embark on a fairly substantial biomass program - everything from energy plantations, and harvesting agricultural residues to utilizing logging waste. -Author
