Abstract

More data are needed to clarify the role of radiation for resectable gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma, and there is a strong rationale for considering its integration into the treatment regimen. Based on the available data, the benefit of preoperative chemotherapy versus chemoradiotherapy remains controversial.
