Abstract

The term ’synthesis gas’ is used for gas mixtures which are feedstocks for the synthesis of chemical intermediates, such as methanol, OXO aldehydes, etc. It usually denotes a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen containing small amounts of C02 and methane.
