Abstract

The Family Development Session is a solution to the problem of poverty to break the poverty chain. The low level of education, many of them, questioned stunting in the health sector,and the financial condition of the community who could not meet the needs became a factor that required FDS activities in Jagalempeni Village. The objectives of this study are: (1). Analyzing and evaluating the strategy of FDS activities as one of community empowerment. (2) Analyzing the results of FDS activities in Jagalempeni Village community. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods in this study used questionnaires and interviews. By taking a sample of 35 FDS participants and 10 informants to answer the challenges in this study. The results showed that the FDS strategy worked well and the results of the FDS activities were able to improve the welfare of the community through active participation in education, improving and improving the economy of Ewaroeng together.
