Abstract

The Law No. 14,129 of 2021, advanced in the configuration of the digital Government model in Brazil, specifically in the Federal Public Administration: it provides the principles, guidelines and structure that the new paradigm of public action should have. In this sense, we seek to analyze how the Digital Government Law modifies the field of public service delivery, especially through the notion of platformization. The problem revolves around understanding the concept of platform-based government and the usefulness of Digital Government Platforms, as well as the challenges posed by digitalization. Methodologically, a deductive approach is employed, supported by bibliographic and documentary research techniques. In conclusion, Platform Government is conceived as a new manifestation of public action. The Digital Government Platforms consist of instruments of this new form of management and, finally, the appropriate digital transformation must go through the culture of innovation, overcoming digital exclusion and the good treatment of the citizens’ data.
