Abstract

Building the first base on the Moon without first thoroughly testing all components and the system performance in a full-scale facility on Earth would not only be dangerous but also a waste of money. How to achieve self-sufficiency at a low cost by drawing upon previous and on-going research and using facilities similar to those on the Moon will be shown in this paper.
