Abstract

The article examines several issues that must be considered in LGBTQ Mormon youth suicides in the U.S. These issues include the direct empirical evidence available on LGBTQ youth suicides, anecdotal evidence, and preventive measures. Also discussed are the factors that contribute to LGBTQ youth suicides, role of their families, friends, and communities, and the causes of despair.
