Abstract

We started this book by being reminded that life is so fragile and transitory. For readers of the previous four volumes in this series on Death and Bereavement Around the World, reading the Dedication, Preface or Tributes in this last volume may have been the first time that they realized that both of the original co-editors of these volumes, Dr. John Morgan and Dr. Pittu Laungani, had died. However, their selection of chapters and papers for this book remain essentially the same. It is notable that Pittu Laungani wrote the Tribute to John Morgan and more recently Ann Laungani wrote the Tribute for Pittu.
