Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:The primary objective of this systematic review is to assess the effectiveness of exercise therapy for reducing pain and disability and improving overall health in adults with non-specific chronic LBP compared to no treatment (including placebo and sham treatment) and other conservative treatments. Subsequent investigations will compare the effectiveness of different types of exercise therapy and explore exercise intervention characteristics that decrease pain and improve function in adults with non-specific persistent LBP.
