Abstract

Background : Immunization is the prevention of dangerous diseases and as one of the government's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely preventing deaths in children. In 2020 at the beginning of March, the COVID-19 pandemic has spread into Indonesia. Activity restrictions make some mothers have an incorrect perception and have an impact on reducing immunization visits that should be carried out as schedule. Aims : Knowing whether there is a relationship between the mother's perception of the importance of immunization and compliance with the immunization schedule at the Public Health Center. Methods : This research uses an analytical method with a Cross Sectional approach. The sample was 110 mothers who had children under the age of 2 years. The data was collected through google form and analysis using chi square test. Result and Discussion : The results of the chi square test obtained significant results (p = 0.000) with p <0.05 weighing H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Conclusion : There is a relationship mothers perceptions of the importance of immunization of children under the age of 2 years to the level of compliance with the immunization schedule at the Singosari PHC, Malang Regency.
