Abstract

Dentro de la seguridad del paciente en el ámbito enfermero, las úlceras por presión (UPP) son la principal complicación más reportada a lo largo de la literatura, con una incidencia que oscila entre el 2% y el 55%. A lo largo de los años se han desarrollado dispositivos y técnicas destinadas a prevenirlas. El análisis de la eficacia de estas intervenciones ha supuesto el objetivo principal de esta revisión bibliográfica.Within the patient safety in the nursing field, pressure ulcers (PU) are the main complication most reported throughout the literature, with an incidence ranging between 2% and 55%. Over the years, devices and techniques have been developed to prevent them. The analysis of the effectiveness of these interventions has been the main objective of this literature review.
