Abstract

Faithful chromosome segregation entails long-range chromosome movement into newly dividing cells. A recent study implicates CDK1 function in releasing mitotic telomeres from the nuclear envelope, thereby liberating chromosomes for mitotic segregation. © 2012 Elsevier Ltd.
