Abstract

© 2014 Kurilshikov et al. Lyme disease, caused by bacteria of the Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato complex, is the most frequent tick-borne infection in Eurasia. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of the Borrelia valaisiana Tom 4006 and Borrelia afzelii Tom 3107 strains isolated from Ixodes persulcatus ticks in western Siberia.
