O campo da saúde mental e as tecnologias de cuidado: uma reflexão

Abstract

A finalidade deste trabalho é refletir sobre os conceitos e as práticas que fundam o campo da saúde mental, a partir dos movimentos da Reforma Psiquiátrica. Destaca alguns pressupostos, sobretudo o olhar dirigido ao sujeito (e não à doença) e a sua inscrição no campo da complexidade. Destaca ainda, que para a apreensão da totalidade do sujeito alvo das intervenções em saúde mental é necessário a adoção uma atitude transdisciplinar, onde os diversos saberes e fazeres específicos precisam se articular, para construir respostas que se materializem em estruturas assistenciais flexíveis e complexas, tanto na escuta quanto na oferta de dispositivos clínicos e sociais. Entendida como uma tecnologia de cuidado, a Terapia Ocupacional encontra nesse território um lugar de excelência para o seu exercício: o lugar de trânsito e de encontro entre o dentro e o fora, realidade interna e externa, o pensar e o fazer, o particular e o coletivo.This work's aims to a reflection on concepts and praxis that lay the foundation for the mental health realm, under the Psychiatric Reform movement perspective. Some postulates are stressed. Among them, the primary notion that the look must be aimed to the subject (and not the disease) and his/her position in the field of complexity. It is also stressed that in mental helth the adoption of a transdisciplinary attitude is necessary for the subjefs wholeness apprehension. The manifold kinds of specific knowledge and know-how must articulate to build answers to materialize flexible and complex care structures. These answers ought to involve hearing the patient and offering clinicai and social devices. Occupational Therapy - understood as a care technology - finds in this territory a place for a state-of-art activity: a place for transition and encounter between inside and outside, between inner and outer reality, between thinking and doing, between private and collective.
