A study of flotation control

Abstract

The control aspects of pulp level in a flotation column is a difficult task as the complex structure of cell configuration and the higher interaction as number of cells used in the configuration increases. This paper analyses about different control approaches for level control in flotation columns. The conventional method of controller design and other algorithmic and heuristic control are reviewed.
