Abstract

Two new subgenera [Anoplocheilus (Diplognathoides) n. subgen., Anoplocheilus (Nselenius) n. subgen.], four new species [A. (N.) silvicola n. sp., Ichnestoma struempheri n. sp., Trichostetha hawequas n. sp., T. potbergensis n. sp.] and one new subspecies (Raceloma jansoni stobbiai n. subsp.) are described. Ichnestoma coetzeri (Allard 1988) is confirmed as a separate species and the genus Jothochilus Kolbe 1982 is synonymized with Tephraea Burmeister 1842. The females of Rhabdotis albonotata (Moser 1904) and Ichnestoma perstriata Holm 1992 are described for the first time. Illustrations and new distributional and biological data are provided. © 2004 by the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology.
