Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of incentives on employee performance at PT Pertamina Lubricants Sales Region II Palembang.Incentives are a driving force or motivation so that employees can work better with the hope that employees are able to provide maximum work results such as being able to achieve work standards or company targets. Because automatically the incentives given to employees will have an impact on performance. This research is about incentives on employee performance using the saturated sampling method, namely the sample that represents the total population. The sample in this study were 71 people. The method used in this study is a simple linear regression method.Based on the research results obtained, that the incentive variable has an effect on employee performance variables and there is a positive relationship between incentives on employee performance. It means that the higher the incentives, the higher the performance of employees at PT Pertamina Lubricants Sales Region II Palembang. Based on the results of the t test which shows the t arithmetic value > t table (4.702 > 1.667) and the significance value is smaller than the significance level (α) 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), then the hypothesis that there is a significant positive effect on the incentive variable on the performance of employees at PT Pertamina Lubricants Sales Region II Palembang.
