Abstract

age and educational groups. The mean intake of saturated fat decreased from 14.3 E% to less than 10 E%. The mean daily intake of sodium decreased by more than 10%. The study suggests that there is great potential to reduce the intake of saturated fat and sodium by using products bearing the Heart Symbol, with more success in meeting nutrition recommendations.
