Abstract

A case of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) which eveloped extensive pulmonary fibrosis and bilateral pneumothoraces is reported. Other features of SLE were minimal. Diffuse fibrosing alveolitis in SLE is probably more common than has previously been thought.
