Abstract

Power packet dispatching system is proposed as one of the new electric power distribution systems, which realizes power delivery in a packetized form. A load can demand a selected power source of electricity which satisfies its demand. In this paper, the networked power packet dispatching system with a loop structure is examined experimentally. In addition, the feasibility of broadcast distribution of the power packet is also verified on the networked system. The networking of the system makes it possible to forward the power packet by multi-path routing, so that the tolerance of the power packet dispatching system can be improved.
