Emotion psychology can contribute to psychiatric work on affect disorders: A review

Abstract

Encouraging results illustrate the potential contribution psychology can make to psychiatry by using hypothesis-generating theoretical models, and new methodological tools (such as computer-based analyses of motor expression) for the study of affect disorder.
