Abstract

The proceedings contain 10 papers. The topics discussed include: successful treatment of high dose methotrexate induced acute kidney injury by intermittent venovenous hemodiafiltration; the changes of arterial stiffness and their associated factors with long-term prognosis in hemodialysis patients; influence of hemodialysis on pulse wave velocity and ankle brachial index measurement; analysis of death causes and its related factors in young patients on maintenance hemodialysis; characteristics of E. coli related peritonitis in CAPD patients; vitamin C deficiency is prevalent in patients on dialysis; transluminal angioplasty of venous stenoses or occlusion in native autogenous arteriovenous fistula; hemoperfusion plus continuous venovenous hemofiltration on patients with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome; impact of peritoneal dialysis on the peritoneal distribution of pericytes and neoangiogenesis in a uremic rat model; and gut bacteria translocation resulting in microinflammation in ESRD patients.
