Abstract

Tourist satisfaction a key evaluation index of recreational spaces. This paper aims to evaluate the recreational satisfaction of tourists with the landscape of courtyard fishpond. The study area mainly covers the courtyard fishponds in Hongcun, eastern China's Anhui province. The main influencing factors of tourists' satisfaction with the landscape of courtyard fishpond were examined through factor analysis and importance-performance analysis (IPA). The research data were collected through a questionnaire survey and analysed on 5PSS23.0. The results show that tourists with different attributes vary in recreation purposes; the satisfaction evaluation system involves common factors like environmental attraction, management and maintenance, recreation experience and supporting facilities; the environmental attraction contributes the most to the recreational satisfaction of tourists with the landscape of courtyard fishpond. The research findings provide a reference for optimizing the recreational value of landscape in tourist attractions.
