Abstract

The application of learning models is one important factor of learning success. The teacher should be able to maximize the application of the learning model. This study aims to determine the effect and improvement of learning outcomes with the treatment of discovery learning models in statistical material grade IV SD Negeri Ciapus 02 Bogor. The method used was quasi-experimental, by giving treatment to one of the classes. Data collection procedure is through tests in the form of pretest and posttest questions. The collected data were analyzed using t test. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence on the application of discovery learning models by 34.29 percent seen from the comparison of completeness of learning outcomes between discovery learning models 88.57 percent and conventional learning models 54.28 percent. This is also shown by the result of tcount of 2.1126 which is greater than ttable of 1.9959, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on the application of discovery learning learning model to learning outcomes in Mathematics subject IV grade Ciapus 02 Bogor Elementary School.
