Abstract

The case study published in the journal “Gruppe. Interaktion. Organisation (GIO)” demonstrates how structured feedback in teams enables further technical education and continuing professional development. Therefore, the working methods and team processes of a start-up company offering IT-based financial services are regarded. These formats, formed and continuously developed in practice, are empirically reconstructed and compared with the “Agile Framework”. It is shown that these practices are consistent with the principles of agile working and ensure conditions for learning in the work process, knowledge building, and a flexible and adaptable organization. Regarding these findings, the paper discusses how leadership and organizations can balance the conflicting requirements of stability and agility.
