Abstract

Implant-based reconstructions continue to remain on the forefront of breast reconstruction as the prepectoral approach gains popularity. This article reviews the challenging patients that surgeons face when evaluating their candidacy for prepectoral reconstruction. The prepectoral approach for thin, high body mass index and previously radiated patients will be reviewed.
