Agricultural technology developed by the Agency for Agricultural Research and Development needs to be disseminated to farmers promptly. One of the model for such dissemination was “Jarwo Super” technology packaging. Its adoption, however, was hampered by various aspects. The objectives of this research was to analyze determinant factors of the adoption of Jarwo Super technology in seven rice production centers. The methodology used descriptive qualitative survey through cross tabulation and quantitative analysis using Structural Equation Model (SEM). Respondents were 40 farmers in each location, consisted of cooperating and non-cooperating farmers. Based on SEM analysis, factors that significantly influence the adoption were social condition of farmers, as reflected by farmers’ frequencies in attending training and group meeting and farmers’ economic capabilities of accessing capital credit. Social economic conditions of farmers were found to be heterogeneous, therefore there should be a flexibility in the methods of transferring technology to farmers.
