Abstract

To be sure, he offers solid evidence for his argument against the "conservative attack machine," including: conservatives knowingly dismissing facts and marketing themselves to be more palatable to more people (p. 97), the Koch brothers' fortune building tactics (p. 104), conservative public relations agencies posing as think-tanks (p. 101), and so on. Lazere fails to provide concrete solutions, strategies, or even case studies that demonstrate the pedagogy of critical evaluation, self-reflection, or openness.
