A study on the protection of copyright in an AI-driven world

Abstract

Enforcing rules has proven to be a difficult issue given the present rate of technological advancement. Artificial intelligence, a key component of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, plays a key part in it. This paper's author has focused on the challenges created by artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of intellectual property, notably copyright. The person who offers the creative input for the work in question might be credited as the creator of works made by artificial intelligence with human interaction. But what about art made solely by artificial intelligence, with no human involvement? In this research, a comparative analysis of Japan, China, and the United Kingdom with that of India is used to address the concerns of whether such works are protected and who should be deemed the author.
