An infected urachal cyst

Abstract

Urachal cysts present very uncommonly in adults. We describe a 25-year-old man who attended with a discharging umbilical swelling and pain. Ultrasonography and CT scan demonstrated an infected urachal cyst which, following cystoscopy, was excised without complication. Copyright 2013 BMJ Publishing Group. All rights reserved.
