Abstract

Valvular vegetation is rare, but has been reported in five out of 28 autopsied cases with scleroderma heart disease. However, valvular vegetation is said to have no clinical significance. We report a case of scleroderma with embolism to the brain and foot in whom mitral vegetation was found on echocardiography.
