Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis Siswa SMP pada Penerapan Merdeka Belajar Berdasarkan Teori Wallas

Abstract

The research focuses on students' creative abilities in implementing Merdeka Belajar. This research aims to describe students' creative thinking abilities in the creative category in the application of Merdeka Belajar based on Wallas' Theory. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were two students from class VII, totaling 28 students. The instruments used are test instruments in the form of description questions and non-test instruments in the form of interview guides. Data analysis techniques will be carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data was carried out using a credibility test in the form of technical triangulation. The research results found that the creative thinking abilities of junior high school students in the creative category in the application of Merdeka Belajar showed that students in the creative category had different understandings and solutions. The difference lies in fulfilling the stages of creative thinking based on Wallas's Theory. Therefore, based on the analysis of this research, teachers can apply Merdeka Belajar which refers to Wallas's Theory in mathematics lessons.
