Abstract
Pulmonary hypertension (PH) refers to an increase in pressure and/or resistance in the pulmonary circulation (Fig. 5.1), which can occur as a primary vascular disease (Fig. 5.1a and d) or in the context of various heart (Fig. 5.1c), lung (Fig. 5.1d), or systemic diseases (Fig. 5.1f).
