Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced children to study from home. For elementary school-age children, learning activities from home need special attention from parents. Previous studies have shown that parental involvement in assisting children in learning plays a crucial role in fostering children's interest in education and improving learning achievement. Therefore, psychoeducation is needed for parents to be able to assist children in learning from home effectively. This activity aims to increase the role of parents who support their children during distance learning activities and improve children's initiative to learn. Psychoeducation is provided through digital pocketbooks distributed through parent networks. A total of 174 parents participated in this activity. Based on the post-test results, it is known that this pocketbook is quite effective in conveying information about tips in assisting children in studying at home.
