Abstract

From parchment to major publishers, the advent of any new broadcasting mode of writing documents has caused important changes in narrative habits (Dobson, 2005). Nowadays, the use of tablet is shaking up the traditional relationship to reading. Besides, some initiatives (such as school modernization plan from French Ministry of Education) encourage to test out new digital technologies in class. Indeed, which kind of pedagogical possibilities does a digital album allow? Why is this kind of electronic book still literature? What does it involve? For example, how to overcome the fascination of young children for the touchpad? How to have them take some distance and control their reflexes or gestures? To find out, we will analyze a specific album, in its paper and digital forms.
