Abstract

Abstract: Emotional dysregulation in police officers often results in angry, aggressive, violent and hostile behavior. Anger often appears when what is expected does not match the situation and conditions. Meanwhile, every member of the police is always faced with daily conflicts at work and also when carrying out conflict management which is often encountered throughout society, especially in dealing with situations of mass behavior. This study aims to examine how much influence emotional dysregulation is felt by members of the police so that it can affect conflict management in their duties, especially when controlling mass behavior. The result is that there is a significant effect of R (Correlation Coefficient) of 0.688, meaning that there is a strong correlation (correlation) between emotional dysregulation (X) and conflict management (Y). While the R Square value is 0.473, meaning that 47.3% of the conflict management variable (Y) can be explained by the emotional dysregulation variable (X), while the remaining 52.7% (100% -47.3%) can be explained by other variables that are not observed.
