Abstract
Gout flares are sudden, intensely painful inflammatory episodes triggered by the accumulation of monosodium urate crystals in the joints. Management aims to reduce inflammation and relieve pain, with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents (NSAIDs), corticosteroids, and colchicine used as first line treatment options.
