INTERNALISASI NILAI-NILAI RELIGIUS DALAM MEMBENTUK AKHLAK SISWA SD KEMALA BHAYANGKARI 1 SURABAYA

Abstract

This research discusses the religious values instilled in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to students at Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Elementary School in Surabaya, as well as the process of introducing religious values through Islamic education and the influencing factors at the school. A field study with a descriptive approach involved the school principal and teachers at Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Elementary School in Surabaya. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then validated through comparing information from informants and observation results, followed by deductive analysis. Research findings: 1) Religious values in PAI instilled in students include piety, politeness, tolerance, harmony, empathy, discipline, care, and ethical conduct towards the environment. 2) The process of introducing religious values occurs through role models and habituation. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for internalizing religious values encompass the stages of response and assessment, but have not fully reached the stage of value characteristics. While some students have already practiced these values, they have not fully integrated into their character
