Abstract

A hollow nanoreactor suitable for the cultivation of Ni-nanocrystals was developed through a distinct seed-engineering stratagem, which involved the assembly of a catalytically active Au/Pd-heterojunction-nanocrystal inside the hollow silica nanoshell.
