Abstract

In plants and invertebrates, Dicer genes play a critical role against infections by RNA viruses. In this issue, Otsuka et al. (2007) report that Dicer mutant mice are hypersusceptible to infection by the RNA virus VSV. © 2007 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
