Effect of amphetamines on blood pressure

Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. Primary objective To quantify the changes in systolic and diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in children and adults taking different amphetamines in varying dosages compared to placebo. Secondary objective To quantify the number of withdrawals due to adverse effects of amphetamine compared to placebo.
