Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data adalah dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumen. Peneliti mewancarai tiga responden yakni direktur, manajer siar dan broadcaster K-Radio Jember. Teori Talcott Parsons yang dikenal dengan  teori AGIL, adaptasi, goal, integrasi dan latency menjadi pisau analisis penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah K-Radio Jember tetap bertahan di tengah terpaan media sosial dengan cara beradaptasi dan memanfaatkan media sosial untuk memperluas jangkauan dan menumbuhkan kreatifitas yang selaras dengan perkembangan jaman. Bagi manajemen K-Radio hadirnya new media bukan ancaman, namun justru peluang untuk menjaga eksistensi media konvensional. Kata kunci : Mediamorfosis, Media Sosial, New Media, Radio Abstract This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection methods are interviews, observations and documents. Researchers interviewed three respondents, namely the director, broadcast manager and broadcaster of K-Radio Jember. Talcott Parsons' theory, known as the AGIL theory, adaptation, goal, integration and latency becomes a research analysis. The result of this study is that K-Radio Jember survives in the midst of social media exposure by adapting and utilizing social media to expand its reach and foster creativity that is in line with the times. For K-Radio management, the presence of new media is not a threat, but an opportunity to maintain the existence of conventional media. Keywords : Mediamorphosis, Social Media, New Media, Radio
