Abstract

Learning Indonesian is essentially teaching students about good and correct Indonesian language skills according to its purpose and function. Language Subjects Indonesia aims for students to have the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently accordingly with applicable ethics, both orally and in writing, appreciate and be proud to use Indonesian as the national language and language, understand Indonesian and use it appropriately and creatively for various purposes, using Indonesian for improve intellectual abilities, as well as emotional and social maturity. This study aims to determine the importance of the Indonesian language in the learning process of Islamic religious education at Islamic elementary schools. Good and correct Indonesian have a more important role in the lesson process, therefore there a need for awareness by every teacher to use good and correct Indonesian in the process of delivering material.
