Considering the functioning of an e-learning system, based on a model for assessing the performance and reliability of the system

Abstract

This work discusses the LMS (Learning Management System), as part of the University's Educational Portal and identifies the main hardware/software components of such an e-learning system. The conceptual model is presented, in the form of a queuing network. Analysis of the performance and reliability of the system, is used, as criteria. The Authors assessed the productivity of the EKTU e-learning system, based on the proposed model.
