Abstract. Work-family conflict adalah bentuk interrole conflict yang berupa ketidakcocokan antara tuntutan peran dalam pekerjaan dan keluarga yang saling bertentangan. Work-family conflict berdampak pada rendahnya kinerja karyawan yang dapat mempengaruhi produktifitas perusahaan dan juga berdampak langsung pada diri karyawan, karena dapat menimbulkan stres. Greenhaus & Beutell (1985) menyatakan bahwa dukungan sosial dapat mengurangi tuntutan peran tertentu atau mampu menciptakan work-family balance. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap work-family conflict pada perawat wanita yang sudah menikah di RSUD Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kausalitas dengan jumlah subjek 63 perawat wanita yang sudah menikah. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur work-family conflict scale yang dirancang oleh Carlson et al., (2000) dan alat ukur dukungan sosial dari Parasuraman et al., (1992). Hasil penelitian ditemukan 98,4% perawat wanita memiliki dukungan sosial yang tinggi dan 79,4% perawat wanita memiliki work-family conflict yang rendah. Pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap work-family conflict dalam penelitian ini sebesar 40,4% dan pengaruh paling besar terhadap work-family conflict adalah dukungan sosial pasangan sebesar 30,6%. Work-family conflict is a form of interrole conflict in the form of an incompatibility between the conflicting demands of work and family roles. Work-family conflict has an impact on low employee performance which can affect company productivity and also has a direct impact on employees, because it can cause stress. Greenhaus & Beutell (1985) stated that social support can reduce the demands of certain roles or be able to create a work-family balance. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence social support had on work-family conflict among married female nurses at Bandung City General Hospital. The research method used is causality with a total of 63 married female nurses as subjects. This study uses the work-family conflict scale designed by Carlson et al., (2000) and the social support measure from Parasuraman et al., (1992). The results of the study found that 98.4% of female nurses had high social support and 79.4% of female nurses had low work-family conflict. The effect of social support on work-family conflict in this study was 40.4% and the biggest influence on work-family conflict was the social support of a partner of 30.6%.
