JUMLAH HIDUP Tribolium castaneum DAN SUSUT BOBOT POLLARD YANG DICAMPUR DENGAN KULIT KOPI DALAM PENYIMPANAN

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of coffee husks to pollard on the survival rate of Tribolium castaneum and weight loss of pollard mixed with coffee husks. The research was conducted using experimental methods. The experiment used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments, each of which was repeated five times. Based on statistical analysis, it showed that giving coffee husks to a level of 30% in pollard does not have a significant effect on the number of lives of Tribolium castaneum and the weight loss of pollard mixed with coffee husks (P>0,05). The conclusions of this study indicated that the use of coffee husks up to a level of 30% could not be used to inhibit Tribolium castaneum.
