Abstract

DIALKYLIMIDAZOLIUM CATION BASED IONIC LIQUIDS: STRUCTURE, PHYSICO-CHEMICALPROPERTIES AND SOLUTION BEHAVIOUR. Ionic liquids, in specially thosebased on the 1,3-dialkylimidazolium cation, have been receiving special attention indifferents areas due to theirinteresting physical-chemical properties. In this work, some aspectsof their structure (in both solid andliquid state) and its relationships with their properties are reviewed.
