Abstract

Artificial intelligence and Assistance Systems are having an impact on the economy, society, skilled work and work environment. However, there are often very different assessments of the effects: On the one hand the loss of jobs and even professions have been predicted, on the other hand new support and options for work are emerging. The actual promotion of these systems will depend on the opportunities of intervention and control by skilled workers. How can problem situations and imponderabilities in virtual environments be handled and solved? Both the opportunities and the risks of Artificial Intelligence and assistance systems for vocational education and training are reflected in this article.
